HI THERE,

I’m Marissa, a list-maker, time manager, event producer, writer and content creator based in Chicago. I care a lot about making an impact (and leaning into joy while doing so). I center my work around this. Whether helping inform folks with information they need to move through the world; making room for those on the margins to feel seen, heard and represented (in media/journalism and otherwise); or creating space for joy and fostering community.

My day job: I work at a newsroom producing events — from workshops and solutions sessions to interviews with major leaders around issues impacting women and LGBTQ+ people.

Outside of my 9-5: I produce events, project manage, and create content for organizations.

On the weekend: I'm a foodie, runner, cat mom, (new!) condo owner and a queer person trying to date in 2024! And sometimes I make silly (and sometimes serious) videos about finding my way through it all.

Think we could have synergy?
